В этом году фестиваль посвящён теме «(Кино)Путешествие», впервые состоятся Детские фестивальные дни.

On January, 9 the regular deadline of reception of applications for competition of the Days of German and Russian short film “Vkratze!” has come.
At the moment we have received more than 150 submissions.
To submit a film in the categories: feature films, animation, documentaries, experimental videos, video art until 31 January
The festival has a new platform for applications for the 2018 competition: festhome.com.
Deadlines are now:
early deadline – December 20, 2017,
regular deadline – January 9, 2018,
late deadline – January 31, 2018.
Conditions of participation are available under the Regulations.

Vkratze!-2017 Echo will take place in Volgograd in November, 1-3. The organizers: NGO “Open city” (Volgograd), Volgograd planetarium, Center of German language — Goethe-Institute’s partner (Volgograd).
1 November at 10:00 will be a demonstration and discussion of the programme of German movies (in the language of the original version with subtitles) at Volgograd
